Chatham Emergency Squad Unveils New Website; Modern Look Focuses on Volunteer Recruitment and Community Donations

CHATHAM, NJ – The Chatham Emergency Squad, an all-volunteer organization providing medical assistance and transport to Chatham Borough and Chatham Township residents and its visitors 365 days a year, has unveiled a new website to showcase the depth and breadth of services provided in the Chatham community.

“The new site provides a modern look and feel, highlighting the amazing talent and
membership base who volunteer so much of their time and energy in caring for the residents of Chatham,” Tim Brown, President of the Chatham Emergency Squad, said. “In taking on this initiative, we hope this inspires many others to consider becoming a volunteer and/or offering a donation, so that we may continue offering free quality care to our residents in need.”

Highly visual, the new site features several images of the three ambulances used in providing services, and focuses on the membership base who volunteer their time and efforts in helping those in need. The site also provides access to information including the 82-year history of the Chatham Emergency Squad, the equipment it carries as well as information about providing CPR classes, blood drive events and more.

Central to everything, the new site provides in-depth information for those looking to become a volunteer and join the squad. In addition, donations via PayPal and credit card are also easy to pledge online, to further support the squad in its fundraising efforts.

The new site was built entirely at no cost by Bolide Communications, a Chatham-based marketing agency along with advisory assistance from Element 28 Design, also of Chatham. Photography assistance provided by Madison Photo Plus of Madison, NJ.

The Chatham Emergency Squad is an all-volunteer organization funded almost exclusively by donations. CES never charges for its services. In 2017 they responded to nearly 1,100 emergency calls and provided free training in CPR to nearly 400 residents, teachers, coaches and emergency personnel.
