Kiwanis Club of Chatham-Madison Makes Donation to Chatham Emergency Squad

The Chatham Emergency Squad recently received a donation from the Kiwanis Club of Chatham-Madison at the club’s annual Benevolence Dinner. The donation, which was similar to the contribution given to the Emergency Squad in prior years, was the result of various fundraising events held by the Kiwanis Club through the year to support local-area community organizations. Other beneficiaries of the club’s fundraising efforts included Madison Little League and local-area soup kitchens.

“We are very grateful for the contribution from the Kiwanis Club of Chatham-Madison, who, like ourselves, has been serving the community for over 80 years,” said Tim Brown, President of the Chatham Emergency Squad. “Thanks to the generous contributions by citizens and local-area organizations, we continue to serve the community without ever charging for our services.”
